BGR-photography -- "Having fun with my camera"
Photography has been my passion for many many years, starting first when I decided that I wanted something to do "just for fun", and enrolled in my first collage course on photography.
It was a beginner course in the more advanced photography, rather than the everyday "pick up, point and shoot" type of photography that I was used to. Therefore I purchased my first SLR and lens and was on my way. It wasn't long before I began upgrading the SLR and the lenses to make my new found "passion" more fun. I found the darkroom especially enjoyable with the peace and quiet and creative atmosphere I found there.
I continued to take more courses and developed my skill. One of my favorite professors Carol Yeager and I are still good friends. Another photographer that has had a positive effect on my photography is Jonathan Atkin of New York City, and likewise, we remain friends.
Eventually I did try the new digital cameras, especially with the cost of developing, and while I still use both, I must admit at this time my first choice when I grab the camera and run is my Canon 40D.
The following pages will show some of my work and the fun I have had. Enjoy! Our web site is an endeavor that is constantly evolving so please come back often.
